1.The agreement#
These terms are a contract between you and Oggnai Technologies Private Limited (CIN U62011DL2025PTC446040), 293 S/F, Western Marg, Saidulajab, New Delhi, Delhi 110030, India (“we”, “us”). They govern the hosted tts-cache-router service: the website and dashboard at ttscacherouter.dev, the router and REST API at api.ttscacherouter.dev, and the documentation (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it, and “you” means that company.
These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement. Where they disagree, these terms govern, except on the handling of personal data, where the privacy policy does.
2.The Service is in preview#
Anyone can sign up, but the Service is pre-release: features change without notice, interfaces may change between releases, and there is no uptime commitment or service level agreement. Configure a fallback TTS in your agent if an outage would cost you more than you are prepared to absorb.
3.Accounts, orgs and API keys#
You sign in with Google. Your work lives in an org, which holds your API keys and your cache settings. You are responsible for everything done with your account and your API keys. A key works until you delete it; delete it from the dashboard as soon as you believe it has leaked, and tell us at hello@ttscacherouter.dev if you think your account has been compromised.
You must be at least 18 and not barred from receiving the Service under applicable law.
4.Your content stays yours#
The text you send and the audio synthesized for it remain yours. You grant us only the licence we need to run the Service for you: to process your text, to send it to the provider you choose, to stream the audio back to you, and to cache that audio for your org as section 6 describes. We do not use your content to train models, and we do not sell it.
5.You bring your own provider keys#
The Service holds no provider credentials of its own. You store your key for each provider you use (Sarvam, Raya or ElevenLabs) with us, in the dashboard or through the API. We keep it encrypted, use it only to call that provider for your org’s own requests, never show it again after you save it and never log it. You can replace or delete it at any time. The provider bills you directly, on your account, at your rates.
Your relationship with each provider is directly with them, under their terms, pricing, rate limits and acceptable-use rules. You are responsible for your use of a provider through the Service complying with that provider’s terms. We are not responsible for a provider’s availability or output, and an outage or a policy change on their side may stop your requests.
6.The cache#
The audio the provider synthesizes for a sentence is cached for your org. A later request from your org with the same sentence and the same provider settings is answered from the cache instead of the provider. Cached audio is never served to another org.
Each cached sentence is deleted within about a day after your retention period ends, counted from when it was synthesized: 365 days unless you set another whole number of days in the dashboard. A change applies to audio already cached as well as to new audio. If you set 0, new audio is never stored and audio already cached is deleted within about two days. Entries may also be lost sooner, for example if the cache storage fails, so a sentence you expect to hit may be synthesized, and billed by the provider, again.
Every request from your org, through any of its API keys, shares the org’s cache. If you serve several customers of your own, keeping their audio apart is your responsibility.
7.Acceptable use#
You must not use the Service to:
- synthesize speech that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing or hateful;
- impersonate a person or organisation, or deceive people into believing they are hearing a human where the law requires you to disclose otherwise;
- run fraud or phishing, or extract money, credentials or personal data by deception;
- process personal data without a lawful basis to do so;
- attack or probe the Service, circumvent its limits, or resell access to the hosted Service. The router’s source code is available under the Apache License 2.0, which governs self-hosting and which these terms do not change.
We may suspend an org immediately where we believe this section is being breached.
8.The people your agents speak to#
The text you send may contain personal data of the people your agents talk to: names, addresses, one-time codes. For that data you are the controller and we are your processor. You must have a lawful basis for the processing and publish your own privacy notice. Acting as your processor, we undertake to:
- process it only to provide the Service, on your instructions, which your requests and settings are;
- engage only the sub-processors listed in the privacy policy, and give notice before adding one;
- limit access to people bound to confidentiality who need it to run or support the Service;
- keep the security measures in the privacy policy, and tell you without undue delay of a breach affecting your data;
- delete it on your instruction: your retention setting and a written request to us are both such instructions.
The providers you send requests to are your processors, not ours: we transmit to them because you told us to.
9.Credit and payment#
The Service is paid for with prepaid credit, held by your org. Characters the router serves from your org’s cache cost US$0.002 per 1,000 characters, taken from the credit about once a minute. Characters your provider synthesizes are not charged by us: you pay your provider for them directly, under your agreement with it. Current prices are on the website and in the documentation; we will tell you at least 30 days in advance, by email to the admins of your org, before raising them.
Every new org receives US$10 of free credit. You can buy more in prepaid packs in the dashboard. Credit never expires, has no cash value, can’t be transferred to another org, and is used only for the Service.
Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which is the seller of record for each purchase, collects any taxes that apply and issues the invoice. Its terms apply to the payment itself.
When your org’s credit reaches zero, the router refuses new connections and requests until you buy more. Connections already open are never cut off, so the balance can fall slightly below zero; the next purchase settles it.
10.Refunds#
Credit you have bought and not used is refundable on request within 30 days of the purchase, to the original payment method, through Dodo Payments. If you have used part of a pack, the refund covers the unused part. Credit already used, and the free credit, are not refundable. Refunds you are entitled to by law are not limited by this section.
To ask for one, write to hello@ttscacherouter.dev from the address on your account with the date of the payment. A refund removes the refunded credit from your org’s balance.
11.Our intellectual property#
The hosted Service, its interfaces, and the tts-cache-router name are ours, subject to the open-source licences of the software it runs. Feedback you send us we may use freely.
12.Confidentiality#
Each of us may learn non-public information about the other. Neither will disclose it or use it outside this agreement, except where the law compels disclosure, and then only after telling the other where permitted.
13.Disclaimers#
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Speech synthesis is not deterministic: two identical requests to a provider can sound slightly different. A cache hit replays one real take the provider made for that exact request; it is not a guarantee of any particular audio.
14.Limitation of liability#
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability under this agreement is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars.
What you pay your providers is not an amount paid to us and does not raise that cap.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
15.Indemnity#
You will defend and indemnify us against claims, damages and costs arising from your use of the Service, your content, your use of providers through it, and your breach of these terms.
16.Suspension and termination#
You may stop using the Service at any time; delete your API keys and the router refuses new connections made with them. There is no self-serve account deletion yet: to have your account erased, with every org where you are the only member, write to hello@ttscacherouter.dev from the address on the account.
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if your use threatens the Service or another user, or if the law requires it. While the Service is in preview we may also discontinue it on reasonable notice; if we do, we refund the credit you bought and have not used.
17.Changes to these terms#
We may update these terms and will revise the date at the top. We will tell account holders about material changes by email or in the dashboard before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that is acceptance.
18.Governing law#
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
19.General#
If a provision is unenforceable the rest survives. Not enforcing a right is not waiving it. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it in a merger or sale of the business. Neither party is liable for a failure caused by something outside its reasonable control.
